Guided by the overarching theme “From Data to Information and Knowledge”, CODASSCA 2026 emphasizes the central role of data in enabling ambient intelligence, smart environments and AI-driven collaborative systems. The conference welcomes original contributions spanning foundational theories, novel methodologies, system architectures and real-world applications across a broad range of domains: smart IoT systems, distributed and mobile computing, data science, multimodal interaction, human-centered computing, cognitive analytics and virtual and mixed reality. As pervasive sensing technologies and embedded intelligence generate data at unprecedented scale and heterogeneity, CODASSCA 2026 will address the growing need for practical approaches to data quality control, interoperability, accessibility and standardization. Particular attention will be given to the transformation of raw data into actionable knowledge, while ensuring privacy, security, interpretability and responsible data governance throughout the entire system lifecycle.
Beyond technical innovation, CODASSCA 2026 will serve as a platform for interdisciplinary active dialogue bridging theory and practice, academia and industry and technical and societal perspectives. The Conference explicitly acknowledges the social and ethical implications of AI-enabled collaborative technologies operating within interconnected urban ecosystems and seeks to promote responsible, transparent and sustainable smart city solutions.
CODASSCA 2026 welcomes participation from faculty members, industry experts, researchers and students worldwide with the goal of fostering collaboration, facilitating knowledge exchange and advancing the development of next-generation intelligent systems for sustainable cities.
